During World Cup break, with the likes of Matías Quiroga, Roberval and Cristian Canio[6] all departing from the club in June, Olivi was inserted into the lead striker role. After forming a special relationship with new manager Omar Labruna, he responded with important goals in games like the 2−2 draw with Universidad de Chile[7] and the 3–1 victory over Colo-Colo.[8] He ended the tournament with 18 goals under of Milovan Mirosevic with 20 goals, but in the 2010 ANFP awards, Olivi was awarded with the Golden Ball[9] and was included in the Ideal Teams of El Gráfico and of the ANFP.
In the next season, Olivi had a very regular start of tournament, being red carded two times in his first games against Católica[10] and Unión La Calera,[11] but he scored two goals against Unión San Felipe[12][13] and Santiago Morning[14][15] in his first four games. However, he had a poor performance in the tournament scoring 2 goals in 12 appearances.[16]
On 21 July 2011, the manager of Audax, Claudio Tessa, confirmed to the web page Emol.cl that both clubs reached an agreement for Olivi's transfer to Colo-Colo,[17] believed to be for around US$1 million.[18] At the popular club, he reunited with his former teammates at Audax, Boris Rieloff, Marco Medel and Christian Vilches.
He made his official debut in a 3–1 win over Santiago Wanderers as substitute with Carlos Muñoz replacing to Sebastián Toro and Osmar Molinas, respectively.[19] In a friendly game for the Copa Gato, Olivi scored the first goal of the 3–1 victory to Universidad Católica at the Tierra de Campeones Stadium of Iquique.[20] On 23 October, Olivi scored his first goal for Colo-Colo against Santiago Morning in a 3–1 victory,[21] which ended a run of 685 minutes of football without a goal. In December 2011, after of the elimination of Colo-Colo in the playoffs for Cobreloa in the semi-finals,[22] was rumours that Olivi would be made available on a free transfer or be loaned due to the striker's poor performances.[23]
